Ground breaking behavioral discovery from the recent arctic expedition:

dodo.mpg (400kB)

Not so humorous, but interesting...This is a video taken in 6000 feet of water. An undersea robot is sawing a 3mm wide slit (1/10th of an inch ... remember that width) in a pipeline.  The pressure inside the pipeline is 0 psig, while the pressure outside is 2700 psi, or 1.3 tons per square inch. Then a crab comes along....

A rare example of sheep jumping from my mother-in-law's trip to Ireland.

Rare footage reveals the risks inherent with ice fishing on the polar ice.

 * None of this is real observed behavior.  Since not all humor appeals to every individual, I apologize if you don't find this material humorous.  Otherwise, I hope you enjoyed it.  Also, I get most of this over the internet, so I have no idea where it originated.  If you created any of this media, congratulations.

Replacement of Mouse Balls Procedure**:

If a mouse fails to operate or should it perform erratically, it may need a ball replacement. Mouse balls are now available. Because of the delicate nature of this procedure, replacement of balls should only be attempted by properly trained personnel. Before proceeding, determine the type of mouse balls by examining the underside of the mouse. Domestic balls will be larger and harder than foreign balls. Ball removal procedures differ depending upon the manufacture of the mouse. Foreign balls can be replaced using the pop-off method. Domestic balls are replaced by using the twist-off method. Mouse balls are not usually static-sensitive. However, excessive handling can result in sudden discharge. Upon completion of ball replacement, the mouse may be used immediately. It is recommended that each person have a pair of spare balls for maintaining optimum customer satisfaction. Any customer missing his balls should contact the local personnel in charge of removing and replacing these necessary items.
